EXPECT MAJOR I-95 NORTHBOUND TRAVEL DELAYS IN STAFFORD COUNTY
Overturned tractor-trailer carrying gravel has closed all northbound lanes at Exit 143 (Garrisonville Road), and traffic is intermittently passing scene on shoulder

UPDATE (9:55 a.m.) – All lanes of Interstate 95 northbound are now open at Exit 143 (Garrisonville Road) in Stafford County. The overturned tractor-trailer has been cleared. Expect delays as congestion clears the scene.

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Interstate 95 northbound travelers can expect major delays in the Fredericksburg area due to an overturned tractor-trailer at Exit 143 (Garrisonville Road) in Stafford County.

All northbound travel lanes are closed, with northbound traffic intermittently able to pass the scene on the shoulder.

I-95 motorists passing through the Fredericksburg area to destinations to the north are encouraged to use alternate routes, including using I-95 Exit 104 (Carmel Church) to Route 207 to Route 301 northbound.
